Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine/Forklift Operator to join our team. We prefer to have someone that has experience in a ready to eat facility and is knowledgeable in food safety, GMPs, and quality control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machines and a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse efficiently and safely. We want someone who takes pride in the job and wants to produce a quality product.
Duties
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Perform equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Assist with inventory control by organizing and maintaining warehouse storage areas
- Follow safety protocols, GMPs, and guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments
- Experience in food safety, GMPs, and quality control
- Familiarity with basic math for inventory purposes
- Proficiency in using logic controllers for equipment operation
- Experience in working in a food grade facility
- Familiarity with milling machines, tooling, and press operations
- Ability to fabricate based on specifications
- Proficiency in tagging peanuts with the correct tags
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
