JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer II to support a healthcare client located in Ohio. This candidate will be responsible for assisting with the campus network design, implementation, and ongoing support of network infrastructure hardware and software components. Approximately 30% of the time will be focused on network refresh projects. Responsibilities include:
- Install, configure, and maintain campus wide wired and wireless network hardware and software
- Assist with the evaluation and recommendation of technical solutions, ranging from local to enterprise wide deployments
- Resolve network performance issues, manage network outages, and provide escalation support for technical teams
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams to deliver projects and maintain system uptime
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering
- Hands on experience working within an Cisco Catalyst network environment
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching (LAN/WAN, VLANs), wireless technologies, and network security standards
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), VLANs, and Cisco networking technologies
- Highly self motivated and directed with attention to details
On call availability as part of a rotation schedule
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour

Education:
Experience:
- Cisco ASA: 1 year (Preferred)
- Network engineering: 5 years (Required)
