Cedar Crest Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Multi-Campus Pre-Primary Educational Assistant to join our collaborative team, providing coverage and support across our four campuses in Bellevue & Redmond. What You'll Do
- Travel between Cedar Crest Academy campuses in Bellevue & Redmond to provide coverage and support as needed
- Supervise, nurture, and engage with children in a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate way
- Maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom environment at each campus you support
- Prepare and serve snacks and lunch
- Help prepare materials and resources for classroom lessons
- Step in to lead lessons when needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff at each campus to plan and run class events and family outreach programs
- Quickly build rapport with new classrooms, teams, and routines as you move between locations
- Work collaboratively with each campus's team and administration to solve problems and keep things running smoothly
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents and colleagues across all campuses
- Take part in occasional events outside of regular work hours, along with other duties as needed
- Support Cedar Crest Academy's mission of providing an exceptional educational experience for every child
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Complete all required Washington State DCYF Initial and State Early Childhood Education certificates within two years of hire
- Associate's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Minimum one year of Young Preschool, Preschool or Pre-K teaching experience preferred
- Ability to meet Washington State licensing and background check requirements
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between campuses in Bellevue & Redmond as part of the regular schedule
- Flexibility and adaptability to work comfortably in different classroom environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- 40 hours per week
- On-site across Cedar Crest Academy's Bellevue campuses, with travel between locations as needed
