Job Overview
As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a crucial role in the logistics and transportation industry by managing your own vehicle to deliver freight efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage various aspects of fleet operations. You will work independently while ensuring that all deliveries meet company standards and customer expectations.
Duties
- Operate your own vehicle for the transportation of goods across various routes.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including data entry into logistics systems.
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Utilize phone systems to coordinate with team members and clients.
- Manage fleet operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance schedules.
- Navigate using Trucker Path to optimize delivery routes.
- Handle freight documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Collaborate with 3PL providers to streamline logistics processes.
