The Opportunity
G3 International is a growing freight brokerage headquartered in O’Fallon, Missouri. We’re hiring a Vice President of Operations & Sales to lead and scale the business — running our operations organization while building a sales engine that drives consistent revenue growth. With a team of 12 today, this is a rare ground-floor leadership opportunity: step in early, put your fingerprints on how the company is built, and help take G3 to the next level.
What You’ll Own
- Lead the full operations organization — capacity/carrier sourcing, customer and account management, and accounting (on-site and outsourced teams) — in partnership with the on-site Operations Manager
- Build, hire, and lead a local sales team in O’Fallon, and stand up a repeatable sales program that consistently grows revenue
- Define, track, and drive performance against operational and sales KPIs — gross margin, load volume, carrier mix, customer retention, AR aging, and more
- Design, document, and enforce SOPs that standardize how the brokerage runs and prepare it to scale
- Own pricing, lane, and margin strategy to grow profitability
- Recruit, coach, and develop talent across operations and sales, and build the leadership bench
- Deepen existing customer relationships and win new business alongside the sales team
- Partner with ownership on strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and growth planning
- Drive adoption and optimization of the TMS and broader technology stack to improve efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of freight brokerage experience, including operations and/or sales leadership
- Proven track record of building, managing, and scaling teams
- Strong command of brokerage KPIs, SOP design, and operational process
- Experience across both the capacity/carrier and customer/sales sides of a brokerage
- Demonstrated sales leadership — building programs, coaching reps, and growing top-line revenue
- Comfortable leading distributed and outsourced teams as well as on-site staff
- Hands-on, builder mindset suited to an early-stage, high-growth environment
- Based in or able to work on-site daily in O’Fallon, Missouri
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience scaling a small-to-medium brokerage
- Familiarity with a modern TMS (e.g., MVMNT), load boards, and brokerage tooling
- P&L ownership or budget responsibility

Pay: $65,291.90 - $78,588.09 per year
