Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the dealership’s finance operations by guiding customers through financing options, structuring deals, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Your expertise will help maximize sales opportunities while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining regulatory standards.
Duties
- Lead the financing process by structuring auto loans, leases, and insurance packages tailored to each customer’s needs
- Build strong relationships with customers through effective communication, upselling additional products such as extended warranties and insurance
- Manage loan processing activities including credit analysis, TILA (Truth in Lending Act) compliance, and title processing
- Negotiate terms with lenders and customers to secure favorable financing arrangements while adhering to automotive sales industry regulations
- Ensure all transactions comply with financial regulatory standards and dealership policies
- Utilize financial software and perform 10-key typing for accurate data entry and transaction documentation
- Collaborate with sales teams to optimize deal structures and improve overall dealership profitability
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Finance Manager or in a similar financial services role within a dealership setting
- Strong background in loan officer responsibilities, including credit analysis, transaction structuring, and contract management
- Extensive knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, financial compliance standards, and relevant legal requirements such as TILA and title processing
- Excellent customer relationship management skills combined with a talent for upselling and negotiation
- Familiarity with automotive financing software, financial software tools, and basic math skills for accurate calculations
- Demonstrated ability to process loans efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to compliance guidelines
- Dealership experience is highly preferred; prior experience in automotive sales industry regulations is a plus
