```Duties```
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing, and maintaining equipment.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to resolve problems.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to support maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
```Qualifications```
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment.
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with people.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the task at hand.
- Basic welding skills are preferred but not required.
- A strong electrical background would be a plus.
- Ability to operate small machine shop machinery a plus.
