Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for the accurate movement, storage, tracking, and shipping of slot machines, gaming equipment, software, and component parts within the warehouse environment. The role requires operation of sit-down and stand-up forklifts, strong inventory control practices, working knowledge of gaming hardware components and associated software platforms, and disciplined use of the ERP inventory management system.
Material Handlers ensure inventory accuracy, proper storage and labelling, safe handling of equipment, and timely fulfilment of purchase orders while supporting the operational workflow of a gaming equipment resale business. Material Handlers need to be able to work independently when given tasks and as part of a group with larger, more demanding tasks.
Material Handler Level III serves as a senior warehouse specialist and operational leader, responsible for complex inventory systems, technical gaming equipment handling, and coordination of warehouse logistics related to slot machines and gaming components. This role requires deep knowledge of gaming equipment hardware and software, along with strong operational oversight.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Leadership
- Lead daily warehouse inventory activities including receiving, stocking, order fulfilment, and shipment coordination.
- Monitor workflow efficiency and ensure warehouse operations follow established procedures.
- Provide training and operational guidance to Level I and Level II Material Handlers.
Advanced Gaming Equipment Expertise
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of slot machine hardware, parts, and associated gaming software systems.
- Assist operations and technical teams in identifying parts, software versions, and compatibility requirements.
- Ensure software-related products are properly tracked, stored, and controlled.
Inventory Control & Systems Management
- Oversee warehouse inventory accuracy across all gaming components, parts, and software.
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex inventory discrepancies and system adjustments.
- Manage bin structure and inventory organization for optimal operational efficiency.
Online Marketplace Coordination
- Ensure warehouse inventory is accurately uploaded and maintained on SlotCycle.com.
- Verify product descriptions, availability, and quantities match warehouse inventory records.
Logistics and Compliance
- Oversee proper packaging, staging, and loading of outgoing shipments.
- Ensure equipment is safely secured for transport to prevent damage in transit.
- Confirm all shipping documentation and logistics paperwork are properly completed.
Operational Improvements
- Develop and implement inventory control improvements, warehouse efficiency initiatives, and procedural updates.
- Collaborate with management to improve warehouse layout, equipment flow, and inventory handling systems.
Equipment Operation
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move large gaming cabinets, pallets, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Additional Duties
- Support management with operational planning, inventory forecasting, and warehouse projects.
- Perform other duties necessary to support business operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 21 years of age (gaming regulatory requirement).
- 5 years of Stand-Up Forklift and Gaming Inventory experience.
- Ability to acquire Gaming Work Card.
Technical and Job-Specific Skills
- Must be computer literate, with advanced knowledge of MS Software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Stand Up Fork Lift certification required.
- Exceptional knowledge of all gaming devices, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working in both an office and in the production facility.

PHYSICAL / WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Work Hours
Full-time position. Hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Flexibility to work outside standard hours may be required based on production demands, customer shipment deadlines, or operational activities.
