Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of office spaces, technical rooms, and outdoor areas using industrial cleaning equipment and hand tools.
- Utilize pressure washing techniques for outdoor surfaces, ensuring thorough sanitation of exterior zones.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, duct cleaning, and the use of ladders to access high or hard-to-reach areas safely.
- Apply safety protocols diligently by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, and following established safety procedures during all cleaning activities.
- Conduct routine maintenance of cleaning equipment, including floor buffing machines and industrial vacuums, to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage in outdoor work that may involve pressure washing building exteriors or cleaning outdoor fixtures while adhering to safety standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects such as duct cleaning or detailed floor maintenance to uphold cleanliness standards across all facilities.
- Maintain accurate logs of completed tasks, safety checks, and equipment usage to support operational efficiency.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of using various cleaning tools, including hand tools, pressure washers, and floor buffing machines.
- Familiarity with ladder use for accessing elevated areas safely.
- Experience handling Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly during cleaning activities.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Outdoor work experience is advantageous, especially in environments requiring outdoor surface cleaning or pressure washing.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to industrial cleaning practices and use of fire extinguishers.
- Excellent customer service skills are a plus when interacting with team members or visitors regarding cleanliness standards.
