Starting compensation varies based on experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluation and Management of patients
- Proper and timely chart documentation and closed by end of shift
- Daily review of lab and diagnostic imaging results
Skills:
- Suturing and minor surgical procedures
- Preliminary assessment of diagnostic imaging
- EKG interpretation
- DOT Examiner
- Knowledge of workers compensation and required forms
- Comfortability with telemedicine
- Excellent interaction with patients, staff and management
- Ability to handle a high volume while keeping wait times reasonable
Licensing/Certification:
- Clear and active Florida license
- DEA
- DOT Certification
Shifts
Practice:
- We accept patients of all ages. Evaluation should be conducted prior to a patient being referred elsewhere.
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
- Are you familiar with providing a preliminary read of digital x-rays?
- Are you able to read an ekg with confidence?
- Are you familiar with worker comp and the DWC-25 form?
- Are you able to see an average of 4-5 patients an hour without prolonged wait times?
Experience:
- Urgent Care or ER: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- FL APRN or PA License (Required)
- DOT Examiner Certification (Preferred)
