Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of experience in carpentry, construction, and restoration industries, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency. This role involves working on diverse projects including framing, finishing, remodeling, and site restoration, requiring both technical expertise and physical stamina to handle demanding tasks on various job sites.
Duties
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, and woodworking tasks using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, and drywall; handle door hanging and fixture installation with precision.
- Execute concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as required.
- Conduct plastering, stucco application, caulking, and painting to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Engage in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general site cleanup to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Fabricate custom components using various materials; operate CNC machinery if applicable.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical work, metal stud framing, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry projects as needed.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites including heavy lifting and working with scaffolding or elevated platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Strong background in carpentry disciplines including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, and metal stud framing.
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, siding installation, drywall finishing (including plastering), and flooring/tile laying.
- Experience in restoration industry practices such as water damage repair and mold remediation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit for demanding tasks over extended periods.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and CNC machinery operation is a plus.
- Skilled in fixture installation including doors and cabinetry; capable of electrical or plumbing work if qualified.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings accurately.
