Quad Axle Dump Truck Driver
Duties:
- Safely operate a quad axle lead dump to transport materials around the Metro Detroit area for constructions/demo companies.
- Load and unload material using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure it is in proper working order
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, foreman, and workers.
Experience:
-Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with a lead dump
- Must be experienced with manual transmission.
-Experience working around construction sites and heavy equipment
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements
Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or other routing systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and coworkers
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform loading/unloading tasks as needed
