Qualifications

Minimum one year serving/bartending in full service restaurants

Has an interest in beer, wine and cocktail knowledge

Is willing to lift and carry up to 20 lbs

Has physical stamina for minimum 6 hour shift

Ability to handle multiple tasks

Compensation
$2.13/hr + tips
50% off meal on duty and 20% off duty
5 vacation days (after 1 year of employment with 30 hrs or more a week)
Role Responsibilities

Greets and seats guests
-
Answers phone calls and takes togo orders (in absence of Host or To-Go Coordinator)

Communicates specials, features, and promotions

Sells add-ons and premium beverage/food items
-
Helps Assistant Manager in creating new cocktails and standardized recipes for menu

Takes timely and correct orders and delivers meals
-
Handles cash and tips accurately

Performs company’s 10 Steps of Service and maintains a lively atmosphere (lights/music/tv)

Maintains a clean dining room and restrooms during service (in absence of a busser)

Performs daily opening, shift, and closing duties (includes beer logs for Pizza Peel)

Communicates restaurant operational needs to managers

Participates in and maintains positive relationships across FOH and BOH teams

Participates in ongoing restaurant training and scheduled restaurant events
