The ideal candidate will be excellent at sales and marketing, passionate about helping people in all walks of life to improve their mindset and fitness, and willing to have visibility in the gym by working 1-2 shifts per week at the front desk.
Responsibilities
- Develop tailored workout plans based on clients’ goals, fitness levels, and medical backgrounds, incorporating knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics.
- Lead diverse group fitness classes such as HIIT, circuit training, silver sneakers, etc.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure safety during all training sessions by monitoring form and adjusting routines as needed.
- Motivate members through energetic instruction, positive reinforcement, and program design that challenges yet supports their progress.
- Promote membership sales by educating clients on available programs and services while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Stay current with industry trends in fitness training and continue to develop additional sales streams within the gym
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and session details to track improvements and tailor future programs effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction with certifications in relevant disciplines such as NASM, ACE, or ACSM preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles to create safe and effective workouts.
- Certifications or experience teaching group-based fitness classes.
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups while maintaining a lively and engaging atmosphere.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients of all ages and fitness levels.
- Passion for health promotion combined with a proactive approach to sales within the gym environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate member schedules.

Pay: $16.00 - $45.00 per hour
