We are seeking an experienced, motivated Business Development Representative to expand our client base and strengthen existing relationships.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate is a driven sales professional who enjoys building long-term relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position focuses on developing new accounts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients throughout the legal community.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business with law firms, insurance carriers, corporate legal departments, and government agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and office administrators.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and community involvement.
- Schedule client meetings and presentations to introduce our litigation support services.
- Follow up on sales opportunities and prepare proposals and pricing.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure outstanding client service.
- Represent the company at legal industry events and networking functions.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of outside or B2B sales experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory independently.
- Professional appearance and strong organizational skills.
- Experience selling professional services is preferred.
- Knowledge of the legal industry, court reporting, or litigation support is a plus but not required.
