Aerospace/Energy precision machine shop (AS9100 and ISO9001 certified) is company seeking entry level associates for long term full-time direct hire employment. The Company has been in business for over 50 years. Advancement opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
- Deburring, filing, buffing of precision machined gas turbine parts using both power and hand tools.
- Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn and train for additional machining skills.
- Other miscellaneous shop duties assigned on occasion.
- This position allows for potential advancement to a skilled machinist position.

Schedule:
- Company offers choice of schedule between 4 day/ 10 hour (Monday-Thursday) or traditional 5 day/ 8 hours (Monday-Friday).
- Over-time available.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years shop experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with common hand tools and measurement equipment.
- Strong math skills.
- Good work ethic and excellent attendance.
- Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to handle large heavy parts as well as smaller components without assistance (up to 40 pounds)
- Must be detailed oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work over-time.
- Must be able to pass a shop math exam and pre-employment physical exam and drug screening.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
