American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with high-capacity OR experience for a 13-week OR Float travel contract in Boston, MA.

OR Float unit position within a large, high-capacity hospital operating room environment
-
Day/Evening rotation available as either 4x10 or 4x12 shifts; evening shifts are the primary focus, with days scheduled as needed
-
4x10 evening shift hours: 1p–11p; day shift hours: 7a–5:30p (M, T, Th, F) and 9a–7:30p (W)

4x12 evening shift hours: 11a–11p; day shift hours: 7a–7:30p (M, T, Th, F) and 9a–9:30p (W)

Weekend shifts are scheduled as 12-hour shifts, with remaining weekday hours adjusted accordingly to meet contracted hours

Contract includes approximately 2 weeks of night shifts and at least 2 short calls per 4-week scheduling period

Weekend coverage is required as part of the schedule

Epic is used for charting

CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT required

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required

Experience in a high-capacity operating room required

Active Massachusetts (MA) license required if applicable; no pending licenses accepted

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted

2 professional references required for consideration

Float assignment covering multiple OR specialties based on unit needs and traveler skill set

Travelers will initially be trialed on evenings, with shift placement determined by skill alignment and unit needs

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced rate compared to standard travel rates

Parking is not validated at this Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking is available at daily rates

Time and attendance is tracked via UKG/Kronos
