Job Summary
Weekend mover for IN STORE. Experience preferred, not required. Compensation dependent on experience. Will train the right candidates.
The movers work in a thrift and vintage store moving furniture and other items for customers and helping organize the store and helping move other items as well. Must be able to lift heavy items, know how to use a dolly and work as a team with our other staff members.
Must have reliable transportation to work.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Ensure the highest quality services to our customers.
2. Help move in warehouse, including picking up, loading, unloading, and delivering to charities.
3. unload trucks.
4. Lifting, loading and stacking furniture, boxes and items.
5. Communicate well.
6. Able to work weekends
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Must be reliable
2.Respond positively to direction from management
3.Observe safety and security procedures.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
1. Regularly required to stand and lift heavy items
2. Must follow safety protocols.
3. Regularly perform heavy physical activity (approximately 30-40 plus pounds).
4. Exposure to adverse conditions. (It is cold in the winter and hot in the summer bringing items to customers vehicles and unloading trucks)
Job Type: Full time or Part time
Salary: $17-$19 dependent on experience
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
