Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Surveying CAD Draftsman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive CAD drawings that support surveying, construction, and engineering projects. Your drafting expertise with Carlson Survey or AutoCAD will be instrumental in translating complex survey data into clear, accurate Survey drawings. Experience with Detailed Architectural Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Surveys, 3D Laser scanning a definite plus.
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on survey data, architectural plans, and engineering specifications using software such as Carlson Survey, AutoCAD, possibly MicroStation, and Revit
- Create accurate Survey drawings of existing buildings, streets, sub-surface utilities, building profiles.
- Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, architects, and construction teams to interpret survey data and translate it into precise CAD drafts
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant standards, and project specifications while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Support the development of construction documentation by preparing detailed layouts, sections, elevations, and annotations
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software including Carlson Survey, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit,
- Skills in 3D modeling from point cloud data
- Familiarity with surveying data interpretation and translating survey points into detailed drawings
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate schematics under tight deadlines

Pay: $27.88 - $34.61 per hour
