Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, including drink service and wine knowledge
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items including specialty drinks and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food handling, preparation, and presentation for a fine dining experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality service
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to boost sales and enhance guest experiences
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Previous experience with openTable reservations or similar booking systems is a plus
