Loehr Health Center is seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and energetic individual who is organized, has a positive attitude and a desire to help individuals with their healthcare needs. This position will require basic clerical tasks such as greeting patients with a professional, respectful, and welcoming demeanor while checking patients in/out, scheduling, answering phone calls, confirming appointments, and collecting payments. Previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred. Administrative experience is required.
This is a PART TIME or FULL TIME position with stable schedule TBD during regular office hours.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS
- Welcome and greet all patients and visitors
- Register new patients
- Update existing patient demographics
- Collect out of pocket payments
- Protect patient confidentiality
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Be familiar with email scheduling tools such as Google Calendar
- Be adaptable and have ability to quickly learn a fast-paced environment
- Possess excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to effectively communicate in a kind, courteous and patient manner
- Ability to move quickly between tasks
- Ability to use standard office equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, EHR programs, and others as required
- Dependable with excellent attendance record
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- High School or Equivalent
- Healthcare Experience Preferred
- Administrative Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare scheduling for multi-provider clinic; have the required education/certification(s)/experience; possess a positive, professional demeanor; have a great sense of humor; possess leadership skills; have excellent communication skills; and be detailed oriented with impeccable follow-through skills. This candidate will be people-oriented, committed to excellence and approach work with thorough consistency; will understand industry and patient needs and concerns; will embrace the company’s mission, vision, and values and communicate them through his/her work.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS
Pay is commensurate with experience. Multiple benefits available to full-time (30+ hours per week) employees.
