Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated BILINGUAL FLOATER TEACHER to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will provide high-quality instruction and support across multiple classrooms, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment for young learners. Your bilingual skills will enable you to connect with diverse families and foster language development in both English and Spanish. As a floater, you will play a key role in maintaining classroom continuity, supporting teachers, and enriching the overall educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom management by guiding children’s behavior through positive reinforcement and effective strategies
- Collaborate with lead teachers to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills
- Provide direct care and supervision for children, including toddler care and preschool activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services
- Maintain open communication with families regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom activities
Skills
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschooler
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches for students with different learning needs and abilities
- Proficiency in using standardized testing tools, tutoring methods, and physical education activities
- Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom routines and documentation related to child welfare
- Compassionate attitude towards childcare responsibilities within daycare or private school environments
