Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen while supporting food preparation and service operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
