About the Role
The APRN will provide comprehensive primary care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute visits, wellness exams, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan
- Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Perform preventive health screenings and wellness visits
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- On call phone coverage shared with other providers
QualificationsRequired:
- Active and unrestricted Florida APRN license
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
Preferred: Primary care experience caring for pediatric and adult patients Spanish-speaking ability (preferred but not required)Experience with eClinicalWorks (helpful but not required) Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
