New Journeys AFC, is a small business in Forest Lake MN. Wages are based on experience, education, and exception rates. We provide services to high functioning adults diagnosed with complex emotional needs and or TBI. The ultimate goal is to safely integrate individuals into the community and prepare them to live on their own.

Our organization is seeking Client Support Staff to serve as mentors for adults who need assistance with daily living skills. Experience is not required, as all training is provided. A successful candidate will be dependable and flexible and will enjoy having the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, monitor, and assess individual goals and communicate progress toward reaching those goals to consumers and online staff.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to identify services that meet consumers' needs and establish individual service plans.
- Provide culturally competent and sensitive care to consumers.
- Use observation skills when interacting with consumers to help identify their wants and needs.
- Recognize when there is a problem that requires intervention.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.57 per hour
