A well-established law firm located in Bluffton, South Carolina, is looking for a full-time administrator/ bookkeeper with a financial background. The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will handle the daily posting of financial transactions in Juris (law firm billing software), reconcile bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers, and ensure records are accurate and bills are paid. This position is also responsible for payroll and benefits, building related tasks such as maintenance and supplies.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Financial management including accounts payable and receivable, client billing, budgeting, tax reporting, monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, monthly reports and year end.
- Assist with payroll processing
- Facilities Management including office equipment and supplies
Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience
- Knowledge and Proficiency in a wide variety of software programs including Juris, ProTrust, QuickBooks, Windows, Clio Manage, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High attention to detail and organized
- Ability to multi-task and learn and retain new knowledge
- Great work ethic, self-motivated, team player, competitive, personable, and highly competent
- Demonstrate good judgment and the ability to maintain confidential information
- Positive, no-task-too-small attitude
