Position: LSAT Tutor (Part-Time)

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one tutoring of the LSAT test
- Deliver sessions following the Avery Prep structure: check-in, concept review, new material, student “teach-back,” wrap-up.
- Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s academic needs and personal goals.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly through quizzes, assignments, and feedback loops.
- Communicate progress clearly to both students and parents, including monthly written updates.
- Coordinate with the Head of Tutoring to refine methods, address challenges, and ensure consistent quality.
- Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting confidence, discipline, and a growth mindset in students.
**We cannot guarantee a set amount of hours for this position. Hours fluctuate and are dependent on student demand. Currently, we have a student with the immediate need of three hours a week**
Qualifications
- MUST have experience tutoring the LSAT virtual tutoring preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Education or subject-specific field preferred).
- Strong ability to break down complex concepts into simple, actionable lessons.
- Excellent communication skills with both students and parents.
- Reliability in scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
