Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Replenish room supplies and amenities as needed.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing items.
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and lost-and-found property promptly.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
- Respond professionally to guest requests and maintain a courteous attitude.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
- Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Work cooperatively with other housekeeping and hotel departments.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, orderly spaces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work pace.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push housekeeping equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies and linens as required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
