Endodontic Practice Leader
Position Summary
The Practice Leader serves as a key liaison between staff and management in an endodontic practice. This role provides leadership, training, and support to clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflows, excellent patient care, and a positive team culture. The Practice Leader models professionalism, reinforces practice policies, and collaborates with doctors and management to achieve operational and patient care goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Provide daily guidance and oversight to front desk, assistants, or sterile techs as assigned
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to management
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environment
- Create alignment with doctor through morning huddles and weekly touch points
- Commit to serving as a business partner for the Doctor, by collaborating and executing on financial goals
- Encouraging and promoting internal culture throughout the team
- Collaborate with doctors to assess their needs and determine the support, resources, and assistance required for optimal practice operations
Patient Care & Experience
- Ensure staff deliver a consistent, compassionate, patient-centered experience
- Assist with patient concerns, escalating issues to management when appropriate
- Promote efficiency in patient flow to minimize wait times and maximize care quality
Operational Support
- Assist with daily scheduling, ensuring optimal provider utilization
- Monitor supply levels and coordinate with management on ordering
- Support accurate documentation and adherence to EHR protocols
- Ensure operatories and workspaces are properly maintained and organized
- Coordination of insurance processing and patient balance resolution
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance referral growth
- Supervise the daily auditing processes and compiles the corresponding reports
Compliance & Safety
- Reinforce OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards across the team
- Participate in safety checks, staff huddles, and compliance audits
- Ensure staff follow proper protocols for sterilization and patient confidentiality
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between staff and support center leadership
- Facilitate daily team huddles and relay important updates
- Collaborate with doctors and management to improve processes and patient care delivery
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of dental or healthcare experience, preferably in endodontics
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or training experience highly desirable
- Proficiency with dental/medical software (EndoVision, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Current CPR/BLS certification

Pay: $59,000.00 per year
