The Golden Pheasant Inn is a fine dining destination known for its exceptional cuisine and service. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced cook for our cold line.
Responsibilities include setting up station, prepping, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Wearing hats, gloves, and proper work attire is a must. Culinary school training or equivalent training preferred.
Expectations:
-Showing up for work on time
-Be able to listen, and speak with clarity
-Having station prepped and ready for service
-Able to follow recipes, and identify basic kitchen ingredients, and equipment
-Must be able to move fast while paying attention to detail when plating dishes
-Must be able to react to constructive criticism in a positive way by improving performance
-Must be passionate about food, and express a willingness to learn and improve
-Must be able to shuck oysters, prepare salads, charcuterie and cheese boards, and
plate desserts according to the chef’s instructions
-Uses downtime to clean and organize, and stay productive while on the clock
We are open Wed-Fri dinner only and Sat and Sun for brunch and dinner (40 hour work week)
