Location: Mahwah, NJ (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually (based on experience)
About the Role
We're looking for a Solar Utility & Rebate Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role plays a key part in ensuring our residential solar projects move efficiently through utility approvals, rebate programs, and Permission to Operate (PTO). You'll work closely with utility companies, homeowners, and internal departments to keep projects on schedule while ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Who You Are
- You have 2–3 years of experience working for a solar company or utility company.
- You have experience with utility interconnection processes, rebate and incentive programs, or residential solar operations.
- You're highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- You have strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a process-driven environment.
- You're proactive, dependable, and comfortable following up with utilities, agencies, customers, and internal teams.
- You communicate effectively and enjoy collaborating across departments.
- You're comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and project tracking tools.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate utility interconnection applications from submission through Permission to Operate (PTO).
- Submit and track state, local, and utility rebate and incentive applications.
- Prepare, review, and verify all required documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with utility companies and government agencies to keep approvals on schedule.
- Coordinate with homeowners and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organized records of utility approvals, rebate submissions, and project milestones.
- Stay up to date on utility requirements, incentive programs, and regulatory changes.
- Help identify and resolve issues that could delay project completion.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
