Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing laundry operations. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various dryers, washers, and other laundry equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist customers with their laundry needs, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of laundry loads, garment finishing, and sorting items accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat by cleaning machines, work areas, and customer spaces regularly.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties, including processing payments accurately and maintaining cash registers.
- Ensure proper use of equipment by instructing customers on machine operation when needed.
- Follow safety protocols during manual handling and operation of machinery to prevent accidents or injuries.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundry operations is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining a hygienic environment in a service setting.
