Set-Up-Man Position Flexible Packaging Manufacturing Company is looking for hard-working, motivated, responsible individuals who are looking for long-term employment in a fast-paced work environment. This role will perform equipment set-up and adjustment on production equipment for converting plastic film into bags. This role will report to a shift lead and work cooperatively with other adjusters, operators, mechanics, QA personnel and others.
Summary of Job Requirements:
1. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment with machinery. Preferably experienced in the Flexible Packaging Industry.
2. Must be able to work with all hand tools and read production orders and converting specifications, make minor mechanical adjustments on the POLYETHYLENE BAG MACHINES such as troubleshooting, adjust weak seals, sticking bags, zipper problems, tension control, punches and quality control adjustments.
3. Candidate should be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. individually.
4. Position requires bending, stooping, pooling, reaching overhead, heavy manual work, standing and walking.
5. Good writing and reading skills are required, Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not a must.
Positions are available for 1st Shift Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
