Elgin VW near I-90 and Randall Rd is looking to add an experienced technician to our newest dealership, Elgin VW.
Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles, diagnose problems, perform quality repairs and maintenance work, and more!

Inspect and test-drive vehicles, test components and systems, use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to diagnose problems.

Provide estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.

Repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.

Learn new information in training sessions.

Keep shop neat and account for dealership owned tools.

Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certifications.
Requirements:
-
Automotive service/repair technician experience is preferred.
-
VW / Audi certified is preferred but not required.
-
Must have a positive attitude and be a team participant.

Versatile in skills and tasks performed.

Good communication and customer service skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
