Job Summary
Looking for an energetic individual who enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference. This individual must be available to work at least one after-school shift a week (Monday-Thursday around 4:00-8:30 PM). There will be opportunities for weekend hours working birthday parties, camps, private lessons, movie nights, and other special events. Must be 18 years or older. Duties
- Teach recreational gymnastics classes for kids ages 1-12
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules, supervising equipment use, and maintaining a safe environment
- Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to motivate students and improve their skills
- Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and safety concerns
- Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness of the gym area, and prepare the space for each class session
Skills
- Strong background in gymnastics and/or cheerleading
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct children and engage with parents or guardians
- Ability to lead team activities, demonstrate leadership qualities, and work collaboratively with colleagues
This part-time position is very flexible and will come with on-the-job training. Must be able to commit to the 2026-2027 school year (and hopefully beyond).
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
