About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This role is for a CLS Generalist working night shifts and requires strong blood bank experience, accurate lab testing skills, and the ability to support high-quality laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
Perform generalist clinical laboratory testing and analysis.
Support blood bank testing and related laboratory procedures.
Process, analyze, and report accurate laboratory results.
Follow laboratory protocols, quality control standards, and safety procedures.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting using CPSI/Evident.
Communicate critical results and findings to appropriate clinical staff.
Support night shift laboratory operations on a 7-on/7-off rotation.
Requirements
Active California CLS or MLS license required.
Minimum 3 years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience required.
Blood bank experience required.
CLS Generalist experience required.
TB clearance completed within the past 12 months required.
CPSI/Evident experience preferred.
Holiday coverage required.
