Overnight Gym Staff Sixx Forge Fitness Sixx Forge Fitness is looking for a dependable, responsible, and motivated Overnight Gym Staff Member to help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming facility during overnight hours. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, takes initiative, and can be trusted to oversee the facility when fewer management personnel are present. Responsibilities - Monitor the gym floor and facility throughout the overnight shift. - Greet and assist members with questions or concerns. - Verify member check-ins and ensure only authorized individuals enter the facility. - Maintain a professional and visible presence throughout the gym. - Perform routine walkthroughs of workout areas, locker rooms, bathrooms, and other facility spaces. - Clean and sanitize equipment, benches, machines, counters, and common areas as needed. - Keep weights, plates, dumbbells, and other equipment properly organized. - Monitor the facility for safety hazards, damaged equipment, suspicious activity, or policy violations. - Enforce Sixx Forge Fitness rules and member policies professionally and consistently. - Respond appropriately to incidents and contact management or emergency services when necessary. - Document incidents, maintenance concerns, member issues, and other important events occurring during the shift. - Restock cleaning supplies and other facility necessities when needed. - Complete assigned overnight cleaning and operational tasks. - Prepare the gym for the incoming morning staff and members. - Communicate unfinished tasks, incidents, or concerns to management before leaving. Qualifications - Must be dependable and able to consistently report to overnight shifts on time. - Comfortable working independently for extended periods. - Strong communication and customer-service skills. - Able to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift. - Responsible, trustworthy, and able to handle situations professionally. - Able to follow company procedures and management instructions. - Basic knowledge of gym equipment is preferred but not required. - Previous customer service, gym, security, custodial, or overnight work experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Employees may be required to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, clean equipment, move gym accessories, and lift or reposition weights and supplies as part of normal facility operations. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
