BFX Fire Apparatus is the leading manufacturer of Type 6 Wildland Fire Engines in the US.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure that all restored vehicles meet the highest quality standards by conducting thorough inspections, utilizing precision measurement tools, and adhering to industry regulations. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Inspect completed vehicles and verify all functional and aesthetic requirements are met
- Inspect machined parts, welds, welded assemblies, components, etc.
- Assist in data collection for quality improvement
- Train and work in various areas of quality in response to production demands
- Follow verbal and written work instructions
- Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Regular attendance required
- All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
