Special Projects Floor & Carpet Technician
Job Title: Special Projects Floor & Carpet TechnicianCompany: CleanCraft LLC.Location: Rochester, NY and surrounding areasPay: $18 – $25/hour (depends on your experience)Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
What the job is:You will do deep cleaning on floors and carpets at offices, schools, and medical buildings. Most work is nights and weekends.
Main jobs:

Strip and wax all types of hard floors (VCT, tile, concrete)

Deep clean carpets
-
Scrub tile and grout until it looks new
-
Use big floor machines the right way (buffers, burnishers, auto-scrubbers, extractors)
Extra jobs when needed:

Fill in for regular janitors who call out sick

Help clean any building when a manager asks (backup person)

Do any cleaning task the supervisor gives you
You MUST already know how to:

Strip and wax floors (no training – you need real experience)

Run carpet extractors and get tough stains out

Use floor machines safely and correctly

Work fast and careful
What you need:

At least 3-5 years doing strip/wax or carpet cleaning (more is better)

Valid driver’s license
-
Can lift 50 lbs and work on your knees

Pass a simple background check
-
Be on time every day
