Retail Sales Associate – Bliss Crystals (Temecula, CA)
Bliss Crystals, a Temecula-based retailer of crystals and minerals (in-store and online), is seeking an experienced, sales associate for our Temecula showroom, with the potential to move into a management role.
About the Role:
Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a high-end retail environment with a proven merchandising expertise, POS and inventory management and a love for personalized customer service. Our product lines of jewelry, crystals, gemstones, essential oils and metaphysical based sidelines, require a person with an eye for beautiful aesthetics, a professional yet friendly manner, appealing personal appearance, pleasant speaking voice and sincere interest in assisting our customers finding just the right product for their needs. While some prior knowledge or interest in crystals is preferred, it is not mandatory. We are seeking someone who is naturally interested in learning about the types of crystals and their properties and feels confident enough to pass this knowledge on to our clients (through the help of our in person training, books and other resources).
Hours:
- Starting at 20-30 hours/week (Friday-Monday)
- Weekends required
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations and customer service
- Assist with visual merchandising, inventory management, and POS systems.
- Work down a daily checklist for cleaning, restocking and organization.
- Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with polished communication skills.
- Assist with light lifting (up to 20 lbs) for inventory organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience (in-person sales only)
- Proficiency with POS systems (Shopify a plus), social media marketing, and computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing, email).
- Strong work ethic, self-starter attitude, and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and grooming.
- 3 Professional references - at least 1 prior supervisor.
