Provide insurance enrollment assistance for uninsured and underinsured patients, including but not limited to completing applications, gathering required documentation, and troubleshooting the enrollment process.
Utilize health insurance verification systems such as ePaces, Claim Remedi and EBO reports to verify health insurance information.
Work with NY State of health Marketplace to submit applications, client’s documents, and file complaints, as necessary.
Document insurance application encounters in eClinical Works.
Collaborate with partner organizations to increase enrollment in Medicaid, Medicare, and other health insurance.
Attend and successfully complete all required training programs and participate in on-going training and webinars, as necessary.
Assist in the development and implementation of organizational outreach and enrollment initiatives.
Perform additional duties, as required.
