Part Time position M-F 1:00pm-6:00pm rotating every 3rd weekend.
Transporting animals to and from kennels. Cleaning and sanitizing the clinic as needed. Ensuring that the animals have ample fresh food and water at all times. Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, and other debris from the kennels. Disposing of trash in a timely manner. Accompanying animals on walks. Calming animals in distress. Reporting significant changes in functioning to the Veterinarian on duty. A passion for animal welfare.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience caring for animals is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills. Capacity to lift 50 pounds unaided. Must have reliable transportation. Available to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
