Provides business development leadership and direction for geographic location(s) and/or a specific market sector to generate sales for Austin that meet or exceed annual sales targets. Once work is awarded, keep contact with the client to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Normally requires a 4-year degree in Engineering, Architecture or Business (or equivalent) and at least 6-10 years of diversified experience, primarily within the business development realm.

Develop annual sales plan and update periodically as necessary to achieve sales goals.

Communicates clearly and skillfully a deep knowledge about the company's offerings and the needs of their target audience based on a deep understanding of The Austin Method, the company's services, including the features, benefits, and how they address client challenges.
- Conducts research and surveys to determine promising areas of development. Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry.

Works closely with the Project Team and is called upon frequently when preparing the scope of work when producing or editing Step 1 documents.
- Develops proposals for Austin services and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion. Recommends the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.

Acts as sponsor during project execution.
