Job Title: Production Specialist

Position Overview
The production specialist is responsible for supporting the production department by managing material inventory and production schedules. This role ensures that safety, quality, and productivity standards are met while supporting workforce development.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate production team members to meet daily output and quality standards.

Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including verifying materials, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Manage production schedules to meet output, efficiency, and delivery targets.

Support training and development of team members.

Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, quality requirements and company policies.

Maintain accurate production and inventory records, including shift reports and training logs.

Serve as point of contact between production staff and management.

Foster a positive team culture by promoting accountability, professional growth and respect in the workplace.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or other related fields required.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required.

Skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases required.

SAP knowledge preferred.

Manufacturing background preferred.

Certification in six sigma, safety management, or other relevant certifications preferred.
