We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal for our client in Dayton area!
This growing litigation team is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys in a fast-paced plaintiff-side practice. This role plays a key part in managing cases from pre-suit through litigation, ensuring deadlines are met, documents are prepared accurately, and clients receive excellent communication and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents including settlement demands, complaints, discovery (interrogatories and requests for production), motions, and notices
- Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation events
- Prepare and file pleadings and correspondence through state court e-filing systems
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel regarding case status and documentation
- Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and manage litigation calendars
- Assist attorneys with case development, preparation, and follow-up tasks
- Respond to incoming calls and correspondence in a professional and timely manner
- Perform additional administrative and case support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of Personal Injury experience
- Strong drafting skills for pleadings, discovery, and litigation correspondence
- Experience with court filing systems and litigation procedures
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong communication and client service skills
