Pettit Staffing is recruiting for Industrial Mechanic/ Maintenance Technicians to join a well-established food manufacturing company in Gervais, Or area. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity offering a comprehensive benefits package upon direct hire. 40+ hours & Overtime.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Repair and replace mechanical components as needed.
- Follow safety, GMP, and USDA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, automotive, HVAC, welding, fabrication, farm equipment, or heavy equipment repair.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and work independently.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
