American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II trauma facility, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT (R) certification.
-
Acute care Level II trauma facility setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department
-
Perform CT scans on both inpatient and outpatient populations across OR and ER settings
-
Uses Cerner EMR along with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT equipment
-
C-arms are used in the OR
-
12-hour night shifts on an every-other-weekend (EOW) schedule
-
This is a first-to-float position
-
Call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process

Radiologist coverage in-house until 6 PM, with on-call coverage overnight
-
Floor-specific orientation consists of 1-2 shifts in the department

Minimum 2 years of CT experience required

Current BLS (AHA) certification required

Current ARRT (R) certification required

License required if applicable

COVID vaccine required

Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Must be a self-starter able to work independently, especially given reduced resources on night shift

Reports to the department manager and team lead

Teal scrub color required, unless working in the OR where scrubs are provided

Candidates should be prepared to work holidays as needed
