- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene to promote independence and improve quality of life
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans
- Implement individualized behavior management strategies and ABA therapy protocols under supervision
- Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching techniques aligned with special education principles
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and clarity in care plans
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and sensitive information
- Document medical terminology accurately within client records and ensure compliance with professional ethical standards
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management techniques
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting for behavioral health interventions
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients’ daily routines in home-based or clinical settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Prior experience working in school environments or supporting individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
