The QA Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the agency’s quality assurance, compliance, and staff training programs to ensure all services meet state and federal regulations, licensing standards, and internal policies. This is an in-person leadership position that plays a critical role in promoting service excellence, program integrity, workforce development, and continuous improvement across all group home operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s quality assurance, compliance, and staff training programs.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of group home sites to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing standards, and internal policies.
- Review incident reports, corrective action plans, and follow-up actions to ensure issues are resolved effectively and documented accurately.
- Monitor documentation, staff performance, and resident care plans to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, risks, and staff development needs.
- Design, coordinate, and oversee employee training programs, including orientation, annual trainings, refresher courses, and compliance-based education.
- Track training completion, certifications, and required credentials to ensure staff remain current and compliant.
- Provide coaching and support to supervisors and direct care staff on best practices, documentation standards, and person-centered care.
- Collaborate with Program Directors, HR, and clinical staff to ensure consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all homes.
- Lead internal reviews and prepare programs for external audits, surveys, and inspections.
- Develop, review, and update policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements and operational best practices.
- Report audit findings, training outcomes, recommendations, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience outlined in Section 21 is required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance, compliance standards, staff development, and group home operations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions and improvement strategies.
- Experience preparing programs for audits, licensing reviews, and regulatory inspections preferred.
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
