Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair projects, using Metal Stud Framer/Hanger/Finisher hand tools and power tools.
- Follow blueprints and specifications.
- Frame walls, hang and/or finish drywall, and install ceilings with efficiency and quality.
- Prepare or assist with layout, using lasers, squares, chalk lines, etc.
- Work in a safe, efficient, and productive manner.
- Clean work areas and equipment to maintain a safe and organized job site.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers, management, and customers.
- Help complete the project on time, within budget, and ensure job quality.
Job Requirements:
- Adequate experience in either Metal Stud Framing/Hanging/Finishing in commercial construction.
- Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in metal stud framing, hanging, and finishing.
- Thorough operating knowledge of all Metal Stud Framer/Hanger/Finisher hand and power tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to communicate well with both management and crew.
- Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, specifications, etc. required to complete the project.
- Must have a valid photo license or State ID.
